About Properties.Wales

Properties.Wales is an independent resource dedicated to property data, tools and insights for Wales. Our goal is to make official sold price information and Wales-specific calculators easy to use.

Data source

We use the HM Land Registry Price Paid Data — the official record of residential property transactions in England and Wales that are sold for value and lodged for registration. This is the most reliable public source of what properties actually sold for.

Important notes

  • There is normally a lag of several weeks to a couple of months between completion and the transaction appearing in the published data.
